Cassis - A Mediterranean restaurant located on the waterfront at the spectacular beach of Givat Aliya in Jaffa. An enchanting view, blue water and a natural reef peeking out of the waves. The spectacular sunsets are breathtaking. The white design with turquoise touches create the atmosphere of a unique beach town. As the ever-changing sea and beach, from flat and smooth as a lake on clear summer days to stormy during the winter, so does the menu which also changes from summerly fresh to wintery warm and cozy.
The open kitchen offers a view of what is happening in the pots and pans. The menu is based on seasonal and high quality ingredients, including meat, fish and fresh seafood coming directly from Jaffa. The bar offers original cocktails and quality alcohol.
The owners Ayelet and Nir Peri returned after a long stay in the San Francisco area of California, where they ran restaurants, catering and events for Silicon Valley celebrities. Their longing for home brought them back to the developing area of Jaffa, wishing to combine between the new and old worlds. Cassis is just that - a combination of authentic Jaffa landscape with modern design.
